We have partnered with Zetica, an industry leader in ground-penetrating radar (“GPR”) for track-bed condition mapping applications as well as engineering and rail geophysical services.
Zetica’s Advanced Rail Radar (“ZARR”) system which is deployed in many countries across the world utilises multifrequency and multichannel GPR to continuously map changes in the thickness and quality of track-bed layers across a network.
The clear and easily useable reports from our surveys provide the baseline condition of the track-bed (formation, ballast quality, drainage issues) and superstructure (sleepers, rail wear, ditches, earthworks). This information can be used by railways to prioritise maintenance-based severity, risk and cost, and produce customisable work order recommendations.
Desktop viewing software (RASC® Viewer) is available to be used by the railway to inspect synchronised information and query the survey data and results.
